Question on 64 Slick Steering Column
I have a 64 shortbed pickup and have an issue with my steering column. First of all, the truck drives just fine.
But when I sit behind the steering wheel, I can see that my steering column is not exactly centered up. It appears to be angling slightly to my right. Does anyone know what could cause the steering column to angle like this?? Thanks. Hombre292

Yes it is normal.
The steering box is attached to the frame. It has a integral steering shaft that runs inside the column.
Your cab may have sagged a bit or have bad front cab mounts but offset and slight angle are normal.
