i have a intermediate problem that has been happening for a few years now. sometimes when i go bush camping and get on a rough track the engine cuts out, pulling up and turning off the key then turning it back on it starts again and runs fine. i traced it to the computer when one day my girlfriend kicked it with her foot as we were driving on the freeway and it stuttered, it has also cut out on other ocassions when bumped or kicked, always starting straight away without hesitation.. it has a DP F6 tuner installed as per instructions with the tape holding it in. i want to get the problem fixed as having the engine cut out while driving is not the safest thing to have happen.
has this happened to anyone else on here, if so what did you do to fix the problem.. without pulling my computer and tuner out i think it is the tuner/computer connection as the tuner board when plugged in to the computer seems to be wobbly, possibly why the tape is used in the fitting instructions to hold it tighter.. if anyone out there has come up with a better way to hold the tuner in other than the tape i would love to hear it.
i would hate to have to remove the tuner because of this small problem as i love the extra power. in advance guys

Contact Dp, you are not the only one, hell I replaced a CPS the other day ( 2, maybe 3 months ago) for the same reason..They will get you another cable
pulled the pcm and chip out today and swapped the cable and switch over, run the cables a neater way, taped it all in tight and zipp tied the cables in place, i think the first time i did it i could have taken a bit more time to get everything sitting right..
i think it should be sweet now, touch wood...
