hungry for fuel
went to start truck( which is a 91 f150 I6, which runs very clean) and it had spark and bat but no fuel. It fuel injected. My first thought was fuel pump, or fuel filter. I got it runing but it was stalling very easily, then would be a bitch to get going again. It sat for about 2 hours and i started it and it was fine. idles nice, but went i drive it, after 2nd gear it would push 3rd it bogs out???
my dad is gone on work, so i dont have his opion or his tools for 3 days

hey try this one, I just had something close to that. turn ign to on and listen for that pump whine. if not and it doesn't start try going under the truck finding approx. where fuel pump is ( in tank mounted unit) then ry banging on it and do the same thing again with the key in the on position mine started to sputter then start up. you know then if it is a fuel pump going bad. if you here it whine, try cycling back and forth between off and on to prime and build pressure also if you think it's fuel related.
