I was hoping it had a gold nugget in it when I picked it up. LOL Do you know Darin if auto parts stores carry POR 15. I cleaned up the radiator support and wanted to use something on it.
The lines are different sizes, at least they are on my truck. I know this for a fact because it takes two different sizes of QD tools to remove the hoses that attach to the steel lines. They're close in size, but they are indeed two different sizes (5/16 and 3/8, I believe).
IIRC I had to use different removal tools to remove the factory hoses that linked the lines from the frame to the engine hard lines. The engine hard lines are different sizes. But I measured the outside and inside diameter of the hard lines on the frame and the outside diameter of the hoses going to the selector valve. As best I could tell they are all identical. In fact I put the return quick connect on the wrong hardline and had to swap it to the other line. Same size. Go figure. Who knows they could be different on different years. Just my experience with my rig.
I got the lines figured out, I think they are the same size. I used the same tool to take the flex lines off just behind the oil cooler. The directions said to use the return line from there back so I connected the rubber hose there. When I was under there I knocked this off of the crossmenber. I don't have a clue what it is or even if it belongs to the truck. Any guesses?
Well, seriously looks like something for the cab/frame supports, IDK.
That's what I thought of too, just missing the rubber grommet or pad. IDK never really looked at that part, someone that has had cab or bed off would know.

Not much done today except last minute shopping, LOL
Used the porta power, what a wonderful tool. I thought I would put the exhaust on from the back forward because I don't know how its going to match up yet with the s366 turbo's DP. I dug out some old instructions for mounting the IC. In the stickies I don't really like those instructions. I have forgotten how much has to be done to mount it. Well, not really but its a little more involved then I remembered.
Have you figured out what that piece was yet Glenn. It looks kinda like part of the body mount where the core support mounts to the frame, but not sure about that. What cross member did it fall off of?
