It would be cool to get like 6 feet of nice powder....
yeah, every autobody guy in the county would be having a party for a month after that
now up on my side of town we get some serious snow like that, but i'd like to keep it up here - too many people who can't drive down there in the city
I noticed a lot of people don't know how to drive, hell, i have only been driving since 2010 and can drive better than most people around here. I drove in the snow twice so far and have only hit a curb once in the bronco. I went around a turn a little too fast and instead of hitting cars in the oncoming lane, i swung the truck back over into my lane and bumped into a curb. I don't think my drive to the pizza place while i was sideways and riding the curb counts At the time i didn't know my gears were different, i thought that was mostly normal.
i'm about halfway to stevens pass, and we've got about 4 inches here. first real snow of the season, not counting a little dusting we got a couple weeks ago
and yeah, people have no clue how to drive in this stuff! just remember to always carry chains, and have the wisdom to put them on before you're stuck in the middle of the road!
Now you know why Seattle turns into a parking lot with a light dusting of snow.
They are a lot of snow-stupid people that live there.
I had more to say and did not think is was a bad word. But I guess
you can't use the other word for cat you know the one that starts with a P.
Just replace stupid with that word and you get the point They are the ones
that really should not be driving in the snow ever and I guess that Snow-stupid
would work also. I just think the other word fits better.
yeah, we have an interesting combination of drivers up here. we have the bellevuites in their priuses who are afraid to get a running start at a hill, we have idiots in SUVs who don't know how to engage the 4wd, we have fools who think that they can do highway speeds in the snow because their truck has 4wd, and i'm sure i missed a few important groups of hopeless drivers that we have to deal with... and then you have a big group who are afraid of all the ones i just listed, who stay home until 2 days after the roads are totally clear.
and then we have weather that can't decide if it wants to be above freezing or below, so we get all this re-frozen slush that makes a real challenge for even a good driver
What about the ones that have the chains on on bare pavement.
And flying at that too.
Or the out of town bus driver in Seattle. He was told that way a bad idea.
Nice truck Jameson. I don't mind the snow, in fact i like driving in it. I don't usually speed cause i know better and i know what hills i can and can't make. The only thing i don't like is that my bronco is an auto. It kind of sucks but what can you do? We haven't seen anything here int he valley but we are rumored to get snow/rain on the 19th. Who knows!
I don't think i live near Stevens, but i am not sure. I do have those boards i think i posted about before i just have to superglue some shoes down or something. Maybe duct tape. Then i have to find a hill that no one uses so i can tumble down it in peace.
