Rough Idel and chugging fixed
towelheadduster, John, did by chance you have your foot petal replaced? Your (Power adjustable Petal) if you have that option. These are now also being recalled! Five dealers in the East Texas area, still cant fix our trucks! Anyone else's for that matter but yours! But your not in East Texas. They are using the same laptops as your dealer. Maybe the air is different up there were you are?.....The Ford dealers now wont even make an appointment for service on the missing 6.0 Power Strokes problems! It is making customers mad. (One service adviser said to me)! Ford has two dedicated engineers working diligently on the software/calibration reprograming problems. Are you going to have the next PCM/Flash done? I would wait about a year if yours is doing as good as you say! You are lucky! Dang it! I really need this truck. I own a Ranch. I just wounder what these 03 trucks will be worth next year? Thanks, David

I am so sorry they cannot fix your truck. I know how i felt when mine was giviing me problems. I have not had the gas petal replaced and I do not have the adjustable pedals.
The air is different in Pa thats for sure and as of lately it has been moist and cool. However we have had one or two hot and humid days when I was pulling my boat and I had no problems.
The thing that would upset me the most is your dealer. They won't even look at your truck????? They wont even take it in to look at it now? Does Ford Motor Company know about this??? !!! I know one thing if it where me. I'm not sure what your laws are in Texas but if the lemon law is in exsistance I would drive the truck right back to the dealer and demand a new truck. I would ask for your identical truck but with a 7.3 in it. If they wont do it I would possibly go after them in some legal fashion. You know the funniest thing is...... sometimes a big lemon pasted to the side of a truck and parked where the dealer is located works wonders.
I still have a feeling something else is wrong somewhere on your truck. Do you know how many 6.0 where sold versus the amout of trucks that have this problem? I would be curious to know the number or the percentage thats bad. I would stay on Ford and talk to them about your problem and it is unfair the way they are treating you.
Keep in touch!!!! John
