I've got oil showing up on the hot side of turbo. so looks like I may have to swap it out.
Motor runs good and no misses just noticed some smoke yesterday. and the turbo sound's different.
What do you guys think?

Mine just went out to that tune. White smoke, smelled like oil. Checked the turbo, and there was shaft play, enough to allow it to contact the housings. Went ahead and replaced with a D66 from Beans.

Shaft play in/out is about 3/16 side/side it don't have any. Miles on turbo is unknown guy I got it from said it had been rebuilt and it's tagged. but i'll just rebuild this one or another one I have.

Okay. Ideally you should not have any in and out play. A little bit of side to side play is okay/normal, but in and out is bad. I would rebuild it.

Yeah after looking at it again it does move side to side. all ready have another one tore apart so I can take it to work and blast it all up and clean it. Then i'll order a rebuild kit for it.
Thanks John
