proportioning valve update...(not good)
Well, I have all of the EPDM o-rings coming from RF Carlson, so that's good. Problem is, when I look down the bore of the metering valve section (the one in front), I see a LOT of pitting and rust in the bore. I cleaned it out very well with a bottle brush on the end of a drill, but that brush won't touch the pitting. Afraid even if I get things back together, it won't work correctly.

They aren't really worth messing with for $59.95 you can have a new one. Ebay PROPORTIONING / COMBINATION BRAKE VALVE, 1976-1986 Ford F150,F250,F350 + Bronco | eBay I just bought one of these a while back for my truck and it works fine.
