temp control guages
A while back my temp control gauge lights flickered out on my 05 f-250. A few days ago they came back on for a short while. I am assuming there is a loose wire somewhere.I tried getting up behind there, but was unable to find anything loose. Any suggestions on how to locate or get a better look.

If you have the computerized climate control panel (digital temp display) the issue is most likely a poor solder joint on the circuit board inside the unit. Mine has been dead a few times on cold start but it powers up on restart. I have read, with interest, quite a few posts on the subject. Unless your a wiz with the soldering tools, replacing the panel is the fix.
