I have a 00 Expy and for some reason my doors will unlock from the driver switch but wont lock. I have tried 3 switches with the same result. But if i put my passenger side switch on the driver side, all works as should. Leads me to believe its the switch but whats the chances i got 2 bad ones from the dealership?

I would say the chances are better than 50/50, depending on the parts manager. Many times a dealer tech will get a bad part and just turn it in for a different part if they know it is bad and the parts guy would just put it back in stock instead of in the defective parts to return shelf or bin. It's usually because they are just lazy and don't want to do the required paperwork involved in a return. Then again they might have been in a rush for some reason.

You might want to check to see if the problem is the "thermistor" or thermal resistor is creating your problem. These litttle parts go bad and create problems with the power door locks. If your door locks work better when cool and don't work when the weather is hot, this could be a sign it's going bad. These keep the door lock system from burning up if someone were to hold the button down too long as kids can often do when playing.
