2007 F150 Vibration
I have a 2007 F150 (2wd) with 80k. My truck recently was vibrating under braking so i took it to my mechanic to have the brakes fixed. All the rotors needed to be replaced. In doing so, the front rotors were changed out with the kit that converts the front rotor/bearing assembly into two separate pieces to cut down on maintenance costs in the future. With this being said, after getting this work done, the truck didn't vibrate anymore... that is until i got it out on the highway. Now the truck vibrates from about 45-50 and 70-80 pretty bad. The steering wheel shakes back and forth too. I have gotten the tires balanced in hopes to fix this problem which it didnt. What could this problem be? Any help is greatly appreciated. I am taking it to my mechanic tomorrow so I would like to have some idea on what to say to him.

It could be a range of other things too, a warped rotor can be a very easy culprit. A caliper dragging slightly with warp a new rotor in no-time. It sounds like it could even be a case of the "death wobble". Id look at your tierod ends and get an alignment.
