vibration

i have a 93 f-150 2wd, noticed shaking when i was slowing down so i changed the rotors. the shaking is still happening around 40-35mph when braking. i have new pads and new tires put on shortly before the rotors. any ideas on what is happening here?
thanks

Just to clarify, you're only getting the vibration when you're braking? It doesn't happen any other time?

If that's the case, then your rotors are warped. You said you changed them, so I'm assuming you went to the parts store and bought new ones. Did you have them turned before you put them on? New rotors are usually warped out of the box from shipping and handling.

drums on the rear can also get egg shaped. Pull one off and measure the thickness off the drum all the way around. A caliper works best for this... Drums are about 20 bucks each at your local auto store.

I worked in a brake shop. We always turned rotors and drums right out of the box.

Kevin's right - it could also be the rears. If the steering wheel moves at the same time you're feeling the vibration (it's referred to as pulsation) then it's the fronts. If you feel it in the pedal but not the steering wheel, it's the rears.
