Brent is correct, it depends on how the truck was ordered from the factory. IIRC 3.73 was standard for the V10s, and 4.30 was optional. I think the 5.4L trucks got 4.10s.

It makes sense that the 5.4's got 4.11's because it helps it get rolling and pulling at higher speeds also.

good info i will haev to check our 00 7.3 to see waht it is on the door
