front and rear diffs

I'm sure it's been posted a number of times but I can't find the info I'm looking for. CAn someone fill in for my ineptness?

What differentials, front and rear are running underneath my 2000 limited X 4x4 with 3.73 gears pushed by the 6.8?
How many splines/ diameter of shaft going into diff?
How many spines and diameter of axle going into hubs?

Maybe I'm not asking the the question right.
Are they Dana 60? Dana 80? Sterling 10.25?
And what are the specs on the ones I have?

Anyone? Anyone?

Front is a Dana 50 and the rear is a Sterling 10.5

Can anyone explain the differance

As an off the lot x owner whats the major differances and how does it effect driving performance???? Thanks in advance

The dana 60 has stronger internals than the dana 50.

Thanks for what's here so far, gents.
I'm still having difficulty finding shaft diameter, # of splines, etc. for the Dana 50 and the Sterling 10.25 (10.50?) Internet searches only bring up axles up to 1997.
