December Meet

I figured i would kick it into gear. We gotta decide on where and when the next meet is. I don't really have ideas but if anyone else does this is the place to post it.

Well I won't be worth much after the 18th But then again
you never know how good it will go. Lets not do it on the
24~26 and the 31~1
And I will be sleeping it off the 18 and being a general pain
for the nurses on the 19.

Well you know, we can always skip December. I forgot about the surgery. I figured xmas might get in the way but we can always just wait till January.

I was sort of thinking the same. Unless people say that they want to do it.

SO SPEAK UP everyone. December yes or no

If I am feeling good I am a yes

So now that we are in December.
Are we going to try and have a meet?
If it's after surgery and I am feeling OK
maybe even if I am not. I'll find a driver.

Hehe I don't know honestly, I figured we would hear everyone else's opinion. To me it doesn't matter if do or don't meet, I figure this month would be a busy one for people with family stuff and buying presents. I would probably be able to make it, I have 1 or 2 weekends open.

I guess we can assume we aren't doing a meet this month yeah? Maybe if someone as a fairly large field or yard we could hold an xmas tree burning in January? Bring all our dead trees and any burning wood out and have a nice big fire. I dunno just an idea.

well boys, it looks like the 15th is the only saturday likely to work well for many folks, as this weekend is too soon for everyone to see this thread, and anything after that is too close to christmas and new years, and we'll all likely be tied up with family commitments or whatever else

i guess i'm on the same page as you guys are - its not a big deal one way or the other - but if there is a meet i'll try to make it if i'm not working late again like i was last time

15th is a no go for me, i have family coming over for their early xmas i think. My niece in-law is going to visit and have her xmas, then go back to her other half of the family for the 25th. Then this weekend i think we are going to cut a tree down.

I'm down for pretty much anytime in December. I might be working, but I can take off.

what if we were to try for a friday night instead of the usual saturday - it seems that any given saturday is hopeless for one of you boys, so what does friday the 14th look like - i can fit it into my schedule unless i have more emergencies, what about you guys

I could swing the 14th I think. That shouldn't be an issue for me. Any idea on where we should go? IMO I liked that round table in Renton we went to. But I know that's far for some of you guys so I guess we will see what others think. I might also bring the ranger down instead of the bronco this time. Depends on how much gas I have, I might need to save it for running Xmas trees around.
