FICM Failing or ???

2004 F350, SRW CC 4X with 70k miles...while towing my 5th wheel earlier this week my check engine light came on but I experienced no other running issues. The codes thrown per my Scan Gauge II were P0000 and P0261. No idea what the P0000 is but the P0261 is Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low. I cleared the codes and the CEL went out later that day but re-lit the next day while towing the trailer again. Now that I'm home from my trip I was able to do the FICM test and got the following voltages. Key on 48 volts, buzz test 19 volts and cranking 46 volts. Obviously the 19 volt buzz test is not good and the FICM has issues. A couple years ago I lost an injector and while it was apart I reflowed the solder joints on my FICM for good measure and put in new batteries as well.

My question is, if I send the FICM in for repair will they do anything more than reflow the joints again or something more? And, if I do send it in, who does everyone recommend as I find all kinds of places online, or, should I pull it and inspect/reflow the joints again. Thanks.

EDIT...a little more info from my Scan Gauge II X Gauges
FICM Vehicle Power - 13 volts
FICM Logic Power - 13 volts
FICM Main Power - 44.5 - 48 volts

Ed has a fantastic repuration around here:

www.ficmrepair.com

He does a lot more than just flowing solder.

Don't trust the SG to read those codes. This doesn't sound like a FICM problem to me.

What did your ET and OT look like?

But having said that, 19V is no good and you'll need to get it fixed anyway. Ed at www.ficmrepair.com is your guy. Go with the upgraded warranty model to get upgraded components.

Sure looks like a FICM issue to me as he wrote:

Agreed, but I don't think that caused his DTC.

A failing FICM can easily throw weird injector codes. There are tons of threads here with P026X codes for failing FICM's

Those are good. I'm probably wrong.

Ed is the man. He'll take good care of you.

Thanks for the info guys. As it's pretty quick and easy to open up and I have to remove it anyway I may open up the FICM again just to take a look inside for any cracked solder joints before sending it off.

I finally sent my FICM off to Ed at FICMrepair.com and got it back 4 days later. I put it back in this past Saturday and my low voltage issues are gone and no more CEL or codes (knock on wood). I was able to speak with Ed on the phone and he provided a lot good info on the PHP tunes he offers for FICM's, bu I opted to pass on one for my truck, although was tempting.
