2012 F250 Question?
I am trying to help my dad find a new truck, I believe diesel is out because of the cost... So I am wanting to know is what kind of milage is everyone getting with the gas engine? Probably an extended cab short bed... Thanks in advance!

I have a '12 F350 CC 4x4 with the short box and 3.70 gears. It is my DD. I plow my own driveway and tow a small 5K trailer. I average about 11-12 on my drive to work and back. A lot of stopping and starting and speed limit changes. Empty on the highway running 65-70 with the CC I can occasionally do about 16. 14-15 is more realistic. Once I hook my little trailer to it, about 8-11 depending on conditions. I don't drive for mileage and have a tendency to void warranties. YMMV.

Alot of variables will alter these numbers, which I'm sure you're aware of. I think I'm one of the worst case scenarios, my driving is all hilly terrain, short trips, stop and go driving... There's a number of these threads in this forum as well as down in the 6.2 forum, just gotta search.
