Need advise update

Hi Folks

I've been able to search the threads here and I think I have my needs figured out.
I want to pick up a slide camper for my 2008 F250 4x4. It's a 5.4 auto with the factory towing kit. (has the tow/haul button on the shifter.) 3.73 limited slip rear.
I figure I need to add a rear sway bar kit, probably Hellwig, a set or air bags, Air lift or Firestone, and maybe tie in an onboard compressor to one of the aux. switches. So far so good.

With the air bags, do I still need to add a helper spring to the rear leafs?
Any other suggestions?

Dave

You'll probably be over the GVWR of your truck, but I wouldn't expect anyone to hassle you over it. Make sure your tires are E rated and aired up.

I'd get the air bags installed with the camper sitting on your truck, then decide if you need helper springs. I doubt you will, you'd be surprised what those bags are capable of handling.
