Good looking highboy! i like the original 'stockish' look.

Nice touch with the choke in place of the cigar lighter.

Welcome to the forum!

Thanks also for sharing pictures of your High Boy. My not-so-humble opinion is the grille on the 1976-1977 is the best looking of all the dentside model years. Your truck is beautiful!

Thanks, guys! Glad you like it.

In case anyone's wondering, the tractor is a restored and fully operational 1919 Fordson Model F. Drove out to Calgary from Vancouver, then towed it 1,250km home. Even hauling that tractor, 70mph up 8% grades the truck was still accelerating. The 429 is a beast, assuming you don't mind the 8mpg.

Be very careful driving that Fordson, they have a nasty habit of rearing up, than flipping over backwards. Adverse publicity, US Gov't forced FoMoCo to end production in the early 1930's...in the US.

Were also assembled in Canada and the FoMoCo plants in Dagenham England and Cologne Germany.

Interesting bit of information. Didn't know that. I drove it around a bit, and even admittedly backed it into a fence, but it seemed fairly stable. I'll make sure not to pop the clutch and floor it. I'd prefer to not be crushed by a tractor.

I love the yellow and white two tone. I might steal it for my rebuild, Ive been thinking about different two tones to go with on my restoration and that gives me a good idea since we have the same body trim. Wish i could see it on a stock 2wd.

I'm sure I'll change my mind a hundred times by the time it comes to paint.

I know that feeling... There are so many 2 tone color combinations that I love. Only thing that keeps me from going a different color, is it won't match my interior

If it helps you out at all, I'm constantly receiving compliments on the yellow/white two tone. A lot of people will tell me that even though they normally dislike yellow vehicles, they love this Ford's paint scheme.
