2000 F350 Issues with starting.
I have 2000 F350 Diesel and it has a TS Performance 6-position switch an Ford remote and a MBRP Exhaust. Start Just to let that you know the modifications done to the truck it has @ 145,000 miles on it. Was up north this weekend and went to start the truck and all of the idiots lights came on but the radio did not and would not start. I found that ground was loose on one of the batteries and tightened that up and put a charger on the batteries thinking they must be low. The altenator was showing a chrage of just above middle which was normal on the way up north. After 1 hour on the charger the truck started right and I thought it was fixed drove home about 4 hours and shut it down and unloaded it then went to start it again and again would not start but the idiots lights were on but no radio tried to start 3 times then pulled out the key came back about 10 minutes later and it started right up any ideas?
Then get your batteries load tested. The loose ground or age may have caused one to go bad.
