Truck wont start...?
Hey Guys. Im having a problem starting my truck. It started fine this morning, turned it off about 5 minutes later and now it wont restart. I check the batteries and they are show 12.45. I checked of the fuses and they checked out fine too. Heres something that may help. when I turn the key i get almost no power at all but relay # 4 clicks rapidly. Also right before this happened my wait to start light started acting strange. After the truck started the light wouldnt go off unless the parking lights were on.

Turned out one of my positive terminals wasnt making a good enough connection. Will be replacing the cable asap along with the batteries just because they are 3 years and 5 months old. Im going to go with the napa batteries again. They last this long in my truck and possibly could last longer. But in not going to risk find out in the middle of nowhere.

Your batteries could still be the problem. A battery that has almost no charge can still read a high voltage. This can also happen to a battery that has a poor internal connection. Have your batteries checked on a load tester to know for sure if they are good. you can also check your cables from one end to the other with a voltmeter. If you have a greater voltage on one end than on the other there must be a resistance of some type between the two points. Also remember that the ground cable is just as important as the hot cable.
