low beams wont work
recently my low beams stopped working on my 1977 f250,i still have high beams and marker lights.Ive replaced the dimmer switch on the floor and the headlight switch in the dash,put in new headlights and still keeps blowing a fuse when the low beams come on,and my dash lights are out now too...any ideas?

Find the wire for the low beams and follow it from the dimmer switch to the head lights,probable has a bare place on it touching the sheet metal or a screw . Your head light switch sends power to the dimmer and that's where it is sent the way it needs to go. There was probable nothing wrong with the head light switch , but that seems to be the first thing every body replaces first when most of the time it's the dimmer .
