I just bought a used 2011 F150 and in the center of the dash near the windshield there is an oval hole with 2 wires in a connector coming out of it. What goes in this hole and what should the missing item do and where can i get the parts to fix this? Part numbers would be much appreciated if anyone has them. Thanks in advance for the help.
I called the dealer here in town and the parts counter told me the part number is 7L1Z13A018-A and its a sensor for the air conditioning. I ordered it and he will have it in tomorrow.
Thats what the fella at the parts counter told me. The sensor they sold me plugged right into the connector that was hanging out the hole in the dash so I would think its the correct part. Don't have automatic lights (would love to do the retrofit or even daytime running lights).
