I bought a 6.2L F250 FX4 Lariat crew cab last October. Since the purchase of my NEW vehicle, I have been having some problems.

-I have had a whistling sound coming from what seems like the dash on the driver side of the vehicle. I aquired a crack in the window and the dealership blamed it on the crack so I had the window replaced. This did not solve the problem so the manager at the dealership has been trying to say that this noise occurs in lots of truck which is ridiculous to think that people would have to drive around with this high pitch noise all the time especially in a $60,000 vehicle.

-I am now on my third power steering pump if this means anything.

-I had a problem for a long time with the vehicle delaying while switching gears in first and second, which seemed to go away after an update from the dealership.

-Now for the biggest problem that i would love some response on please...
While towing my 30' toy hauler bare bones with nothing in it weighing in at approx. 8000#, as well as a skid steer (with trailer) coming in at little over 10,000# I am getting about 40-60 litres/100km (about 4 to 6 mpg I believe). The dealership is telling me this is normal which I find hard to believe (about 200kms on a tank of gas).

-Problems that have shown up but never happened infront of a dealer include the power mirrors folding in but not folding back out.
-Transmission feeling like it slipped (hard jerk when accelerating) about half a dozen times somewhat recently

If there is anything you know, problems that come to mind or something you can suggest that can give me some peace of mind It would be greatly appreciated!!!!

 

just got mine fixed it was a whole lot of yelling at dealership I have a 2011 with 72000 ford replaced three solenoids in transmission now the truck shifts seamless up and down it runs better now then day I bought I t I had all the same problems with my tranny they did the dumb *** flash to trust me they know about it be forcefull you will get them to fixit
