Was messing with the beast today, I noticed signs of a possible interior
leak on the rear hatch door, I could see where a small amount of water dribbled down the glass, leaving a tiny puddle on top of a utility box in the cargo area. Anyone ever hear of or had this issue? If so what was your remedy? I Inspected the weather seal, all is good no dry rot. My rig is a 2002 never had this issue before. Being of sound mind I can only think of 2 possible causes: 1. I did not close hatch all the way (hard to imagine the weight of the hatch alone is probably 150 lbs. or more!) 2. living in NJ; we had Hurricane Sandy blow through the area, extremely high winds able to push rain through by beloved Ex's weather seal?? Any thoughts fellas? Thx
Aside from the elbow being disconnected as mentioned above and barring the natural disaster...the only time I've heard of a leak when the windlace is still intact would be with a torqued frame. I've heard of it happening with the side window vents though...never the rear hatch.
