We have 2002 F550 7.3L that recently replaced the engine control module in. As a not we had to go throu the local International dealer to get it, Ford dealer said no longer available. Anyway, that was a few months ago. Now we have the following codes: P0123, P0237, P0603, P0718, P0733 and P1211.
The Genisys gives a description for each code.
My question is could some of these be related to one common problem?
P0123 TPS high
P0237 Turbo Boost sensor A circuit
P0603 Kam malfunction
P0718 Transmission speed sensor intermittent
P0733 incorrect gear 3 ratio
P1211 injector control pressure higher/lower than desired
The TPS code is probably not related to the others.
The KAM (Keep Alive Memory) was probably set during the PCM change.
The boost and ICP codes could be related. Verify that your MAP sensor is online by making sure the connector is plugged in properly and the sensor hose is plumbed to the intake manifold securely with no leaks.
The two transmission codes could be related to a TSS or OSS sensor issue. Again, check wiring and connections. The TSS and OSS sensor is the same part in most cases unless you have a PTO trans (likely in a F-550 model). If so, they are different parts.
Have you cleared all of the codes and run the truck and these codes showed back up or is this from changing the PCM?
Keep track of the codes, clear the codes and see what ones come back.
yes i did save and clear the codes. Truck is out on a 1200 mile round trip at this time so i will see what it has when if returns. Thanks for suggestions, i will let you all know what i find.
