Here's what happening. Turn on the truck, runs fine. While in park windows, wipers and lights work fine. Once I put in in drive, wipers won't work, windows won't go down and the interior lights turn on. I drive for about a minute, the wipers work, the windows work and the interior lights turn off. When I come to a complete stop, the interior lights turn on and when I drive off again they turn off. The battery indicator light turns on on the dash, the door ajar light turns on although all doors are closed properly and the digital odometer does not aluminate. However, the odometer does aluminate after driving for a while. The air only blows cold air, not AC. No heat ever. Where to start troubleshooting is the main question. Thanks
I don't have much experence with that model. But I'd recomend cleaning your fuse and rely boxes,(top and bottom) and inspect them while your in there. Based on you specific problem I'd look for the diagram showing relays or switches at the shifter and brake pedal. Also spray cleaner on the ECM and shake it up a bit since these cars rely so much on it. (shake it to see if it turns anything on or off)
I use a lot of dielectric grease when doing these thing to be sure no corrosion hits in the future.
Where to start troubleshooting is the main question.
I would start with testing the battery. Even then, batteries that have tested good turned out to be the source of many electrical gremlins when it comes to these vehicles.
