truck won't start
It runs once charged with a car battery charger but after being turned off if is quick to die out. I can put the key in and put down the windows and turn the lights on but there is not enough power to turn the truck over completely. Also, when turned on the parking lights will not shut off until the battery dies enough for the lights to go off. When the lights are off and the key is out of the ignition the door will chime as though something is on. I have tried unplugging fuses to see which will turn the lights off when they are stuck on and hopefully this will make the car stop chiming. Unfortunately no fuse would turn the lights off and only the fuse for the door chime would turn it off. I'm not very familiar with the for F series and I am trying to fix the truck up to sell it. This is the only thing I have left to do. Any advise would be helpful. I have searched but could not find anything to help. If anybody could point me in the direction of a thread that would help that would also be appreciated. Thanks

That's a very weak sounding battery you got there. I would replace it asap...and replace the light switch, check the belt tension, and observe the charging gauge for the health of the alt. once the new battery is in

Yeah, swap a battery in there and see if it helps at all...the light deal sounds fishy, but my first step would be to get a fresh battery, might fix more than you think. If you swap it and the lights are still bein goofy then track down a new switch and see if that helps. Good luck with it, electrical gremlins make me wanna pull my hair out but itll work out!
