Which Coil?
Friend is getting me the full MSD set up minus the coil. Which of these coils (or another) is best for the 390?
Blaster 2 Coil Hi-Performance - 8202
or
Blaster 2 Coil, Ford High-Performance - 8205
Is recomends the 1st one for the 74 390, but the 2nd for the 76 390..... That makes no sense to me cuz they recoment the same everything but coil.

I believe that the difference is with the coil connection. The 8205 has the connections for the Duraspark II which had the horse shoe connector/bracket. the 8202 can be used but the connections were not specifically for the Duraspark II. I think the Duraspark II was introduced during the 1976 model year.
