Actually I do remember that, actually 18 cents just outside of Stockton Ca. When I worked in a gas station as a kid the old guys would come up and ask for "high test"........lol.

We are paying more than that now per gallon in taxes....

it was regular fuel as the 66 needed the lead in the fuel to keep the valve seats.. before this junky unleaded. im sure the epa woulda loved me.

Leaded gas all over the highway? lol. Now days they squawk if you fill it up too high and they don't even want fumes getting out.
