We recently replaced the engine in our 95 ford ranger Auto (splash on 38's) with a 3.0 Auto... we are getting the code po708 (trans. curcit high input) we have tried double checking connects, adjusting, installing a new nuetral safety switch, and resettting the by unhooking battery, turning on headlight switch, clearing the codes thru the code reader....
please help save this truck before my hot headed dude flies it off the bridge lmaooo (but he will) What on earth can we try next ?????

What engine was replaced/taken out? Was it a 3.0? If not, there may be a difference in the electrical harness that is causing your problem. What drivability problems, if any, does the error code cause?
