Brake light in cluster

Brake light in cluster

Well my brake light won't come in with the key or parking brake. I pulled the cluster to change a bulb and the brake light bulb was good. So I swapped it with the door ajar light that I knew that worked. Well brake light still isn't working and the door jar light still works.

So what do I need to check to find out why the brake light isn't working?

Does your brake work? There is a little wire that attaches to the top of the brake assembley. You may want to make sure it's plugged in. That's all I got.

Yes I checked there but I can't even get the light to come on when they all test with the first turn of the key.

mine sometimes does and sometimes doesn't show the "BRAKE" light when i start the car with the E brake on. sometimes when it doesn't show, i forget its enabled until i start to drive off lol. ill check that plug on the top of the brake on mine, didn't think about looking. i bet its loose.
