SCT wont load custom tune? Failed to write data?

SCT wont load custom tune? Failed to write data?
Was wondering if anyone has experienced this issue before?
Im trying to load a custom tune(looney) from vivian at quicktricks and i keep getting an error on the SCT device updater when i try to transfer the tune...
Heres the error in full
system.io.ioexception:failed to write data
at SCT.IO.Livewiredriver.writebulk(INT32pipe, Byte [] data)
at SCT.IO.Livewiredriver.Sendcommand(USBcommand cmd, byte [] data)
at SCT.IO.Livewiredriver. send file(string file, byte[] data)
The SCT device is older it seems and used, but is unlocked and had 4 unlocks left? i updated the firmware already....dont know what else to try...
anyone have any ideas? its driving me crazy, was going to be my first try at a custom tune...........

Try to reset the device without backup of any records. Hope it works.
