93 i6 ignition question

ok so i bought this truck been going threw it i found that where the harness plugs into the ignition coil there is three wire two of whiuch go to the coil the other one goes to what looks like a small capacitor mounted on the side of the coil frame this wire is broken.

now the quetion is is it a capacitor, what does it do.
how do i get a replacement part pic just shows a new coil
the truck is still running without it connected but it does run a little rough.

truck is 93 f150 i6

things i have done so far replace ecm,cap rotor, wires, plugs, iac motor, fuel filter, oil and filter. the truck used to die on start up and hold rpm while driving along with idleing rough and the ecm fixed alot of that. needless to say it is running way better now it has no current codes.
