There is probably a sensor issue or an overfueling condition

If you still have warranty I would take it in

Find a washed out washboard dirt road and haul buggy down that road WHILE IN REGEN! I picked up almost 2 mpg on my f450. It must shake the soot around good and burn more of it up. My guess but it worked like a champ!

I bet you've used a lot of fuel..You need to have it serviced. Let us know what happens and what was the issue.

Thats an interesting observation, There is also youtube videos of people cleaning out DPF's with a washgun.

I don't know if any of these tricks really work, but what the heck, might as well try haha.

The only way I would buy another aftermarket filter is if I built a racing toy that I had to get dyno numbers to show off.

Curious how it went with the dealer. Is your EGT covered under warranty?
Im having an issue with my dealer service writer today about a failed EGT sensor.
Claims it was broken in peices and parts are stuck in the particulate filter. Quoted me 650.00 for parts only for EGT sensor. and 1600.00 for a new Particulate filter again parts only. According to him the parts are not under warranty. think I may have to B***h slap him back to reality. Different dealer tried the same stunt when my thermostat froze and blew a hose a few months ago.
He's due to call me this morning.

He would be correct. the Sensor is not covered unless you still have some emissions warranty left, check that.

Someone may correct me here, but if it was me, I'd just ask for a new sensor to be put in, and leave the busted tip in there, I doubt it will do anything.

I don't see a small foreign object having much if any negative effect on DPF flow at all.
