Cleaning exhaust filter issue
Ok guys I know about the cleaning the exhaust filter (REGEN) but this one is somthing i havent experianced nor have heard of. So I drive my 2008 F250 6.4L with 90,000 on it about 70 miles a day but it is all city. so my cleaning exhaust filter light comes on regularly right. well about once a week i get on the freeway and take it for a while letting it complete. well lately my truck regens every time I start it up and has been running extreemly rough while doing it. i have tryed to let it complete and it wont i mean i went for a long time then turned it off and when i came back and leaft again it went into regen again. not to mention im down to 10 mpg. any help guys i mean can i replace the filter, remove the filter, anything will help let me know im over this regen crap.

you'll want to take it in with a log of the regens how far apart and length combined with before and current mpgs.
Just make something up that can be passed onto the tech. Leave one in the truck with a note to the tech and give one to the SA. (sa will probably throw his away).
Some how you have to communicate the combined syptoms so that they will run some fuel diagnostics on it.
