Also, If it goes to the dealer for service and the dealer needs access to the OBD port..do they just unplug and when finished plug the tuner back in without any issues.
Thanks guys
I am pretty sure any of them can just be unplugged with no effect.
There is also a windshield mount for the guage if you want. That way you can move it around.
Yes, all they have to do is unplug it. All it does is tap into the vehicles (computer) sensors to receive info.
This alone really tweeked up my interest level. Are you able to use the camera anytime? or only when in reverse?
It turns on automatically when you put it in reverse, but on the touch screen you can select the camera to stay on as well while you are going down the road.
It's an extension of your smartphone display and works by running apps on the phone; you'll need a data plan to get anything to work..
It comes with Inrix nav/map app and Pandora
Running DashCommand turns it into an OBD code reader and multiple gauge display
It also has backup camera interface
For 400 bux, it's a clean factory-looking install. Install the apps you want and you're stiil ahead of some of the other standalone solutions
Unfortunately, I have my expensive Sync unit, so I'm likely not going to do anything.

Awesome. I like the idea of being to check the trailer hitch when going down the road.

They are. There are some good brand name ones on Amazon for even less. My problem is between GPS, ScanGuage, Ham radio, XM radio, etc. things are getting cluttered enough. Consolidation of function is a good idea in my book.
