Lowering a 1986
Okay just got grandpas 1986 and looking to lower it any pics. of long beds lowered so I can get an ideal of looks and tire wheel combo and are people using to get them on the ground beside bags thanks inadvance

Do a search in this forum on "lowering" or "dream beams" or "lowering beams". You can't lower these trucks properly without buying expensive front axle beams that have a drop made into them. You may run across a couple of threads in here where people cut the springs anyway, and you will see their tires are angled in at the top, giving them terrible tire wear, but they don't seem to care about it. The standard axle flips and stuff like that work for the rear.
