It really depends on what you are doing with the truck, I change my more often because I work the truck hard, but I think generally you should try to change them every 50k-75k
front diff is usually 75-90
rear diff is usually 75-140 with limited slip add-in if neccesary
transfer case is usually the same as the transmission so maybe mercon v

Approval to Service ALL 5R110 Automatic Transmissions with MERCON® LV
Beginning immediately ALL (2003 to 2010 MY) 5R110 automatic transmissions can be serviced with MERCON® LV automatic transmission fluid in place of MERCON® SP.
Initially only the 2009/10MY 5R110 automatic transmissions were filled and serviced with MERCON® LV. In an effort to reduce complexity, Ford Motor Company is allowing all previous model year 5R110 automatic transmissions to be serviced with MERCON® LV automatic transmission fluid. This pertains to top off as well as fluid replacement. Mixing of MERCON® LV and MERCON® SP in the 5R110 transmission is acceptable. Extensive testing has been performed to insure there are no functional or durability concerns with the use of MERCON® LV in the 5R110 automatic transmission.
Vehicles affected are F-Series Super Duty trucks (including chassis cab, motorhome, LCF).
Motorcraft MERCON® LV is now available in three sizes:
Part Number: XT-10-QLVC - 1 quart
Part Number: XT-10-DLV - 55 gallon drum
Part Number: XT-10-BLV - Bulk
Further information can be found in the Workshop Manual, Section 307-1, Automatic Transmission
Mercon V did NOT replace SP. Mercon LV replaced SP. Mercon V should not be used in SP/LV applications and vice versa. DO NOT use LV or SP in the transfer case, it's far too thin. The correct fluid to use in the transfer case is Motorcraft XL-12 Transfer Case Fluid, but Mercon V should be ok to use as well.

I agree w/ ExV10, the manual calls for 2qts Mercon ATF for the transfer case...that said I'm not sure using SP would hurt anything if you have a couple extra quarts. BTW, where did you find SP? It's been phased out for a while now, the replacement is LV.
I bought the sp from the dealer, they recomended it, as also it says on the trans dipstick, thats the only place I looked for it since I was buying both filters, never knew it was phased out, the truck was last trans serviced by ford at 50,000 with sp. and since they had it, I got it, thanks for all responses. and I bought just enough for the trans, I will need more when I do the transfer case
