Anyone know which pump has a threaded hole for the out put side like the one on mine truck has now so I can screw the proper fittings in and use the steel line running to the carb? I ordered one though my local parts house, a Precision brand and it has pressed in hose barbs for both the in and the out. So does the Airtek pump apparently. Both of these are cheap pumps from China, any suggestions on a better pump? Searched the forum and didnt see anything concerning the fittings on the pump, there are threads mentioning both Holley and Edelbrock pumps though.
There are two different style fuel pumps. One has an integral canister style fuel filter built in, the other doesn't. Both styles have a threaded style outlet. The filter style has a 1/8" female NPT fitting that an adapter fitting screws into to convert it to the 5/16" inverted flare to match the outlet line. The other pump without the filter has a 5/16" inverted flare fitting brazed directly to the pump body.
I've never seen a pump for these trucks that had hose barbs on both inlet and outlet. The trucks came from the factory with a hard line that screws directly into the pump.
I bought fuel pumps recently from both NAPA and Autozone and they had the correct fittings.
That one doesn't come up on Napa's website when searching for 1975 F100 360 fuel pump but NFP M60092 does, it shows that it has the threaded output port but the inlet and outlet are straight across instead of staggered like yours.
What I find interesting is that it shows NFP M60092 rated at 23 gallons per hour while AFP 4008 is rated at 40 gallons per hour.
Did the original fuel pumps have different ratings for different applications?

I think it was listed for a '73 w/ 390 but it'll fit a 360.
Hey Bama
This doesn't relate to a part number, but I bought a pump ( I believe it was an Airtek ) at the local Napa up in NorCal and the upper section of the pump was shaped very differently than the stock pump. It made it an absolute bitch to bolt it on to a working truck. it interfered with the bolt path like crazy. When comparing to the stock unit the Airtek (?) is more bell shaped on top. The stock unit is flatter.
Sorry I can't be more precise but am working off 2 year old memories.
But just something to be prepared for.
Good luck.

I have one ive been trying to sell NIB and ill take a look and post a pic of it tomorrow for you. It will fit a 360/390. Ill look to see if it has what your talking about.
Here's the one I got recently from NAPA, it's for a 360.
Napa# AFP 4008
Mike, the one in your picture looks like the one I have on the truck now. I called O'reillys and they offered Airtex or Precision with the Precision supposedly a better pump. Napa carried the Airtex only so I ordered from O'reillys. The cannister/filter style are for trucks with the in cab tanks so thats what they ordered. The Precision pump has pressed in barbs and they are in a different position on the pump, 90 deg from the block. I called Napa again and he couldnt be sure from the book how his pump is configured but I'm going to get one coming and see, thanks for the help

You jogged my memory, I think I put one of these on the old engine 2 years ago and it was a ***** . It was the kind without the filter. Thanks
The cannister/filter style are for trucks with the in cab tanks. BS!
Fuel pumps with cannister fuel filters were factory installed in ALL 1965/76 F100/350's with FE engines. Fuel tanks have nothing to do with it.
Many have been replaced by now, so you don't see them as often.
Similar cannister fuel filter pumps were installed in 1964/78 500 series and larger trucks, 1965/76 240/300 engines in F100/350's, 302 engines in 1969/76 F100/150's.
And myriad 1964/72 Passenger Cars with 240/260/289/302/352/390/410/427/428 engines.
C4AZ-9365-B .. Corrogated Paper Cartridge Fuel Filter (Motorcraft FG-1A) / Available from Ford/autoparts stores.

I'm sure thats correct but if you go to a Napa/O'reillys/Autozone and ask for a fuel pump for a '76 F-100 they ask if it has an in cab tank, if so they give you a pump with the filter, if not, they give one without.
