also Ford had recalls on their front leaf springs because the cheap plastic antisqueak pads wore out within a year and ford came out with a newer better design, so YES thousands of Ford trucks had this squeak thats why Ford made the recall and newer parts for their crap design
i read on here that ProComp springs dont ride good but thats using their crappy shocks, all i know is these "diesel" springs ride like a dream on my 5.4! My dads 2000 diesel has superlift level springs that again sagged but SL wont warrenty them because they replaced them once already so his gonna order the 2210 for his diesel so ill do a write up and post about how they hold up to a big boy diesel motor
I just read through the thread. YES, I've bought springs through SDTruckSprings and they were cheaper than getting through my dealer, even though my dealer had some good prices. I ordered X/C codes for my Excursion. X=Snow plow prep for the fronts and C codes which are 2003 dually w/o overloads for the rear. Do not let one persons opinion sway you. Go over to the Excursion forum and look at how many put super duty springs on the Excursion to make it ride and drive MUCH better than the stock ones. As for pickups, SDTrucksprings have the same spring rates the dealer has. I have nothing but good things about them. My X does not ride rough at all. True, some people want and very soft ride, but that is a trade off with body roll most of the time. The truck should hold it's height if you replace the original spring with the same rate spring. If you want a slightly stiffer spring, they have that too..True, shipping is expensive from them due to having to come freight. If you are close to a dealer that can give you a good deal, you might come out better there. Also, give Tousley a chance to see waht they can do.

Not really, they sit lower and the sway bar takes care of that. Mine doesn't roll at all and if it did there is always the rear bar option. I don't know what all the too doo is about different springs. They are basically all the same but some are stiffer than others.
I think that scalers set up is the way to go!! It looks badass! But I just need up going with sdtrucksprings x codes! I just put a set of 305/70/16 duratracs on and $$ is a little tight, so this is going to have to do!! Thanks for all the input!!
