It has to be: 9' Express Styleside Bed (original applications 1957/66 F350) because Ford never offered a 10' bed, Styleside or Flareside.

Wasn't sure on the bed, that's just what the owner told me. Thanks for the clarification.

Bill I didn't know the proper term "Express Styleside" was the actual name for these types beds. I knew it was a left over version from 57-60 and used on F100 thru 63.
Thanks.
Nice truck by the way their jhooch you posted.

F100/250's were not available with 9' beds, F350's only / 1957/66 F350's were also available with 9' Flareside "Express" Beds.

1961/66 "wrong bed" Stylesides: 1961/65 F100/250 4WD / 1961/66 F350 9' Express / 1962/63 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F250 4WD.

So a F100 lwb or swb bed of this type isn't a "express styleside?
Also you question my commet on model's up to 63 F100's is there something different than thru 63 models? I'm aware of flairside & stylesides in both lwb & swb on these models as well especially 64-66 having never seen a F100 with a "express side bed" not saying thier isn't such an version'; I've never seen also doesn't mean there isn't.
Just want clarification

Express: F350 only.

Look at the wrong bed applications again. 4WD's used these beds 1961/66 except 1966 F100 4WD's that used the 1964/66 F100/250 2WD beds.

I'm supposed to be somewhere in 20 minutes, spent the last 20 minutes in your "hipo" thread. Now I'm gonna be late. Grrrrr

Sorry to cause you to be late;
But I disagree with wrong bed; I've seen two many (Orphan Box) square type bed on lwb & swb up to 63 F100 models to consider it to be wrong era;
I beleive Ford used left-over version of the above type box on F100 thru 63. As mention I'm not as expert but just a fanatic.

They aren't really the "wrong" bed-people just call them that, because the body lines on the bed don't match the body lines on the cab.

What is the wheel base on the F350's with the 9' bed? What axle did they have? Dana 70?

'61 thru '66 F 350 single wheel pickups used the separate 9' styleside ( as shown in photo) or the 9' flareside. Even in 1961, Ford knew the unibody would not work on F 350 pickups or 4X4 pickups. The 9' styleside was no longer offered on F 350 pickups after 1966, Ford just used the 9' Flareside body.The F 350 model was the least changed pickup from '61 thru '66.

You are correct, it's out at Hawley's Service not far from the casino. Dave there is a customer of ours. He had a pretty cool Continental sitting out there the other day too.

These F 350 pickups rode like tanks when empty and are geared very slow. If weight hauling is not a concern, and higher overall speed and ecomony is, remove a few leafs springs on all 4 corners, add a Dana 60 8 lug ( around 3.73 ) and a 8 lug straight axle from a '64 F 250.
