'66 Bed lengths
Hi all, I have a 1966 F-100 long bed that I am converting into a short bed. I have everything I need, except the dimensions on a short bed. If anyone could give me the specifications, or where I can find a diagram on the internet, please let me know.

Jason, Keep looking for a short bed. You will have to cut it completely four times and weld back two, because it has to be cut in front of and behind the wheels.

I will cast my vote for finding a actual shortbed, rather than chopping up a long bed. You will be much happier in the long run with how it looks, as well as it being alot less work. There is a short wide bed on e-bay right now, bidding is around $800 last time I checked for this unrestored f-100. They are out there, but as we all know, hard to find.....
