I ran into this guy at home depot yesterday with a 65 f350, fleetside
he told me it had a 9 ft bed, Could this be correct? first one i have seen.
I have to ask, Did ford make them or was it aftermarket?
i did not measure it myself but i belive him, it looked Extra long.
also had a straight axle?
Style side from 57 to 66 for F350s was a 9 foot bed. Big and long. and Rare. I have seen 3 in the last 30 years of collecting and parting. You could also get a 9 foot flair side bed for the F350s.Garbz
Interesting info. I didn't realize that they made a 9' Styleside bed. I thought they were all Flare sides. Must have been on the 4X4's ? with the Fridgeside beds ? (aka Wrong Beds on the 61-66). Anyone have a pic?

The only Styleside bed available on 1961/66 F350's is the 1957/60 type.
gritsngumbo: There's no such thing as a factory F350 4WD until 1979.
EDIT: The "STANDARD CATALOG OF LIGHT DUTY FORD TRUCKS 1905-2002" (ISBN: 0-874349-411-3) has a factory photo of the 9 foot F350 Flareside EXPRESS bed on page 116.
No photos of the F350's 9 foot Styleside bed are shown in this book.
