I wish I was better on the computer but maybe someone with the knowledge is. I think there is a need for a basic electrical system diagnosis tutorial. Almost every day there is another member frustrated and struggling with wiring or lighting issues.
It could be formatted like a service manual with illustrations. Like, here are the tools you will need, then some step by step instructions on how to use a test light and basic volt/ohm meter usage.
It could be a sticky and whenever someone has an electrical issue, the could be referred to it instead of getting confused by several well meaning members who take them down rabbit trails.
Just an idea.
