needed wiring schematic

I need a wiring schematic for 1985 ranger 4x4 w 2.8 v6 some of my wires burnt on chargeing system need to trace I would really appreciate the help

Hi and welcome to FTE. Check your parts store for a Chlitons and do a search for a CD shop manual.

im trying to help a friend in idaho who is stranded he does not have a computer and is not very sharp but i can read a schematic and explain to my friend how too i just need schematic copy limited buget cant aford to buy repair manual wish i could i would not have to ask for help and I`M A TRUE FORD MAN 100%

If there is a half price book store there they always have a lot of haynes books. usually about 8 bucks.

thanks but my friends money is funny and so is mine if could afford it i would not hasitate to buy a repair manual AND I AM 100% FORD ALL THE WAY

On the alternator:
B-Black/orange
F-Orange/light blue
S-White/black

There are fusible links in the system also. Let me know if you need more info.
