I have the Economy tune and I am quite happy with it. Overall drivability is better and mileage is up a little. I always got good mileage, but it's a bit better now.

I also have the economy. I wanted the Atlas 40, but tow pretty heavy and was scared. After driving the Economy tune for about 6 months, I am very happy with it. It was worth the money to me. The throttle response is so much better than before. I don't really think I am getting much better mileage, but am happy just with the improved driveability.

Good question and tough answer. At the time my FICM failed, so did my HPOP. I replaced the FICM first, truck still didn't run so the HPOP got replaced along with ICP and IPR. After all the work the truck is running VERY nicely, but there were multiple changes. I do think that the FICM program is worth the money and would likely do it again. I would have gone with the next step, Atlas 40, but I was concerned about EGT and pulling heavy.

I have a week on my FICM that Ed rebuilt with the Atlas 40 and the 2 year warranty.

I can honestly say that it has exceeded my expectations by a long shot. As others have said the truck now has more of the drivability of a gasser with the power of the diesel. I would agree that the turbo is spooling much quicker now. As for the mileage if I quit putting my foot into it every chance I get it might be better but I was getting around 16 MPG before.

I have the atlas 40 with the 2 year warrenty, just got it done a few months ago. I have nothing but good things to say about the atlas 40 tune and the rebuilt FICM. I also do allot of heavy towing and i have not had any high EGT issues, even when i was pullin a trailer 70-75 mph in the mountians!
