Truck weight
Buidling my garage going to put a vertical lift in for the old 6.0, was wondering what size to get...picking up 350, CC, 4wd, LB, DRW. Thinking close to 9000 if full of fuel. Am I close?

My 2005 F-250 crew cab, long bed 4X2 weighs 7,000 even with a full tank of fuel. I installed a 9,000 lb. lift before I bought the truck. It has had zero problems with it but if I'd known I was going to buy this truck I would have probably bought a 10,000 lb. lift for peace of mind. I do have close to a 25% fudge factor as is and I'm sure, hopefully, that they also build a safety factor into them also. By the way, my lift is made in the U.S. not China. Bought it from Americasprideonline.com. I have also put my buddy's 05 4X2 dually on it.

My '04 KingRanch CC LB DRW weighs 8240 with full tank (38gal), me in the seat (275lbs), stock tire/rim/suspension/empty bed. This was on a PA certified scale at the quarry.

There's one at the TA just north of 380 and I35 in Denton, and I think there's one at the Pilot station by Cabelas at Alliance Gateway and I35W in Ft Worth. I weighed in at 8300#.

10,000 on the dot. 06 CC LB DRW-also has 97 gallon aux tank(full at time of weighing) and 36 gallon gasoline aux tank(full at time of weighing). Do I win anything for most curb weight?
