CRUISE CONTROL ISSUE
HEY GUYS THE CRUISE ON MY 03 F350 WORKS FINE BUT WHEN YOU HIT THE RESUME ACCEL BUTTON, SAY TO SPEED UP, THE TRUCK ACTS LIKE THE CRUISE QUITS THEN KICKS BACK IN, OTHER THAN THIS IT WORKS FINE, I CHECKED CRUISE CABLE AND THROTTLE LINKAGE AND ALL IS FINE, ANY IDEAS THANX

I suspect you have a bad cruise control switch. Each button is on the same circuit, but each passes current through a unique resistor. So if the resistor on that part of your switch is bad it would be sending the wrong voltage to the module.

I was kinda thinkin it was a switch problem, when i first test drove this truck all of the cruise buttons acted like they had never been used or something like soda was spilled in them,they were kinda sticky when pressed. might try some electrical contact cleaner if that dont work i guess ill find some switches but as long as it works im ok with it just a little annoying, thanks for the reply and sorry about caps lock....
