P0603 code
P0603 code
I have a 2000 F-350 that is throwing this code. I was wondering if this would affect the way a transmission is shifting. It seems like the torque convertor is not disengaging. It feels like a standard transmission. Any help?

Im really not a Trans guy but I've seen loose battery connections and bad batteries play havoc on all types of systems. So I would have to say it is entirely possible that the trans could be affected, It is after all controlled by the PCM. How much is controlled by it im unsure but I know things like shift points and line pressure are controlled my it. and an intermittent loss of power to the PCM could cause it to go into limp mode but I would assume other systems would be affected as well.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
